Curriculum Vitae:
1. Since 1987, I have
been working in the industrial and oil sectors through my work with the
Military Manufacturing Authority and the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, where I worked
in mechanical maintenance departments and their administrations in many giant
production factories, as well as following up on projects and reconstruction
campaigns throughout Iraq as part of my work in military manufacturing and the
oil equipment industry , where I held several positions in the production and
maintenance departments.
2. Since 1990, I have
gained extensive field experience through my work (as a follow-up and
supervision manager) (reconstruction project campaigns) in projects such as:
- The reconstruction of oil
refineries in Baiji, Al-Dora, and Basra, as well as in production factories
such as the sugar factory in Mosul, the Mosul Dam, Baghdad Electricity, and the
Al-Azim Dam.
3. In 1997, I moved to
work outside Iraq, where I held several positions in Arab countries, and
settled in Amman, Jordan, as Regional Manager for the Jordanian company
Al-Bahith and supervisor of six Iraqi companies in relation to commercial
offers, contract preparation, and follow-up on the arrival of materials
supplied from Jordan to Iraq until 2003.
· Return to
Iraq 2003 I worked for:
1. Nama Group, UAE, as
accounting and correspondence manager: I was responsible for commercial
correspondence and preparing offers from international companies after studying
tenders. For a full year.
2. Then I took over
as managing director of Al-Wasef Al-Dahabi General Trading Company. I was able
to secure a contract with the Iraqi Ministry of Justice to supply IVECO trucks
in 2004-2005.
3. I worked as managing
director of Al-Amwaj Trading and Commercial Agencies Company until 2005.
4. I worked with Arab
and Iraqi civil society organizations as a technical advisor for civil
projects.
After that, I returned to the Ministry of Oil (in 2006) – Heavy
Engineering Equipment Supply Company (HEESCO), where I was responsible for
managing the following departments:
· Partnership
Contracts Manager: - This was within my
area of expertise in the field of partnership contracts with Iraqi and
international companies.
· Cost Manager: -
This was within my area of expertise in corresponding with companies and
researching well-known manufacturers to find out the prices of materials for
each tender before it was announced.
• Commercial
Manager: My responsibilities included following up on orders and local and
foreign purchases.
· Relations and
Delegations Manager: My responsibilities included preparing visas, reception
ceremonies, and honors for delegations, and accompanying them throughout their
visit.
Note:
• In 2018, I traveled to
Jordan for one year and worked as an Administration Manager at Thrifty Jordian,
then moved to Iraq at the request of the Ministry of Oil
In my last assignment there, I worked as Assistant Director of
Technical and Logistical Support for the oil spill project in the Rumaila field
in Basra, representing the Ministry of Oil with British Petroleum (BP), until
my retirement in 2021 upon reaching the legal retirement age.
Work in the private sector after retirement:
• Logistics Project
Manager – Masar Al-Malook Group of Companies (my responsibilities included
monitoring and supervising the logistical support for all projects carried out
by the group, with all their logistical details at all sites, through field and
office monitoring). 2022-2023
• Working in a consulting
office as a contract and tender consultant and studying commercial offers (2023)
• Maintenance and
Security Manager – Al-Atefa Residential Complex (Responsibilities include
monitoring and directing maintenance staff in all branches to complete their
assigned tasks, as well as monitoring all complex malfunctions and completion
rates and supervising them, and monitoring security matters for all security
points and gates of the residential complex. (2024-2025)
• Coordination and
Management Director for Oil Projects – Advanced Achievement Company (Follow up
on projects in oil refineries and areas assigned to implementing companies in
all regions of Iraq (Basra, Haditha, Baiji, Kirkuk), field and site supervision
of work methods and implementation rates, and follow up on the installation of
oil tanks of all sizes.
